We are also pleased to announce that Fugawi iMap: Germany is now available which includes 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and 1:200,000 scale topo maps for all of Germany from the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie).
Fugawi iMap now works on iPad (in iPhone pixel doubling mode).
Also, we are only a day or two away from releasing iMap Ver. 3.0.00 which will include native support for iPad. Again, this will be a free update for users of all Fugawi iMap editions.

goto waypoint (direction, distance & ETE to a waypoint) was listed as a future feature (but not now) - is this in 3.0?
ReplyDeleteVersion 3.0 will be submitted to Apple in the next 24 hours. Version 3.0 supports iPad full-screen and corrects all known issues which can cause the app to crash. Shortly after that, 3.1 will be released with support for track recording, upload and download. (Yes, we are almost finished the coding for tracks, but we put it on hold until iPad support could be properly finished.) Waypoint support will be next after that. All updates will be free-of-charge to existing users of all editions of Fugawi iMap.
