==> Double tap on Map Now Zooms Map In
Double tap anywhere on the map (except the current location icon) to zoom the map in (Google Maps and topo views).

==> Bug Fixes

  1. How do you download waypoints and maps from Fugawi Navigator PC to Fugawi Iphone?

  2. Assuming you have an account at www.x-traverse.com, you access it from your fully updated Fugawi 4.5 software. Click the menu GPS | X-Traverse.com. Click the "Create New" icon (a white sheet of paper), then enter a file name and retain the file type GPX. Click "OK" to bring up the Data Exchange window. Select whatever waypoint data you want on the left hand side; click the right-arrow icon to move that data over to your new file on the right hand side. Click the "Save" icon to store it on your X-Traverse.com account.

After that, other software applications or any computer's web browser can retrieve your waypoints.

In Fugawi iMap, confirm that you have your X-Traverse username and password in the screen Settings | X-Traverse Account. Back on the map screen, tap the Location icon (upper left corner) and select the third tab "My Library". Tap the "X-Traverse Data Exchange" button to display the GPX files stored on your X-Traverse.com account. Select whatever GPX file you created earlier and then tap the download icon (a green arrow in a yellow folder). This imports your data into waypoint library listing where you can edit the waypoint or tap on it to jump to its map location.

A video clip of this kind of data exchange in the older Fugawi iMap version 1.x is posted at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iTDctpCrQs . And for a tutorial on how to export waypoints from Fugawi 4.5 software to iNavX on an iPhone, see our Fugawi video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpYDLLukF8Q .

  4. We have had a few such comments. We are shortly going to post an update for dedicated iPad support which will fix this bug and also allow full screen viewing of maps. The update will be free.

  5. Hello!

I found in the App Store that Fugawi iMap is available for Sweden on
    the iPhone 3GS.
The fee for the entire Sweden coverage is 999 SEK or about 130-
    140 USD.

I can't find anywhere any information telling me if it is an anually
subscription fee of that amount that I have to pay if I want to use it
more than one year or if it is a one-time buy and I don't have to pay
anymore if I want to use the sweden maps for more than one year.

Since it is an on-line service that transfers map data to my device I
have hard to believe that it is a one-time buy.

Please inform me about the purchase details and if it is a subscription
that I pay for and if I have to renew the subscription every year if I
want to continue using it after the first year.

    Thanks

  6. Thank you for your enquiry about “Fugawi iMap - Sweden Entire Country”.

When you purchase the App, you can download as much Swedish map data as you want to your iPhone. (There is a convenient function to download a block of mapping at all scales). Once the maps are downloaded to your iPhone, they are yours to keep forever. (The maps are cached in the App, and will be backed up to your PC/Mac every time you Sync with iTunes.)

Fugawi X-Traverse guarantees to keep the map data live on its website for your continued download, or re-download for 2 years. However after the 2 years, you can continue to use whatever mapping which you have already downloaded.

If/when the Swedish maps are updated, there may be a charge to gain access to the new edition maps, however the maps you already have purchased will continue to work into the future.

I hope this answers your question.

  8. We expect to release a patch to Apple in the next two days. Then it will likely take between 3 and 10 days for Apple to approve the App version. we have been working on adding tracks and adding full support for the iPad large screen, but this is taking longer than expected, so we have paused this development to release an interim version which addresses the crash when used on iPad in the standard iPhone mode.

  9. Version 2.4.00 has been submitted to Apple today. This version fixes the crash on startup when the iPhone version is used with iPad. Hopefully Apple will approve it quickly.

We are hard at work on version 3 with iPad full screen support. This version 3 will be a free update to all existing users of Fugawi iMap.

  10. Version 2.4.00 has been approved by Apple. Fugawi iMap now works on iPad (in iPhone pixel doubling mode.) We are only a day or two away from releasing iMap Ver. 3.0.00 which will include native support for iPad. Again, this will be a free update.
