Just trying out the App and trying to add waypoints in southern Saskatchewan. Adding a waypoint within the app works fine except that when I tried to edit the coordinates the waypoint doesn't move. Editing the waypoint name seems to be the only thing that is actually permitted although the i screen allow entry to all the fields. After trying to edit a waypoint seceral times the app locked up the iphone (3Gs 32GB) and had to be deleted and re-installed. Presumably this was due to corrupting the waypoint file which is invisible to the user. Waypoint data fields that should not be edited need to be made 'not landable' to idiot-proof the app a bit more! Yours etc Steve Rhodes
We cannot reproduce the issue you report. You can edit any waypoint by:
- tap-and-hold on the map to invoke the Waypoint Tool - drag the waypoint editor over the waypoint to select it - Click the small "i" on the Waypoint Tool to edit the waypoint name, attached photo, icon, location coordinates, altitude or description. Tap Done when finished to go back to the map screen. - You can also edit waypoints from the waypoint library. Tap the “Location” icon on the top left corner of the map, then tap My Library. Tap the arrow next to any waypoint to edit (or delete) it. - Note also that you can Move a waypoint by selecting it with the Waypoint Tool then dragging the Waypoint Tool.
